Snøhetta has also designed the new Oslo Opera House. "It was a beautiful monumental building", said Neal Benezra, the director
of San Fransisco Museum of Modern Art. "After our visit to Oslo, there was no question that we had found our architects".
The cost of the San Francisco project is estimated at US$ 250 million, and is scheduled to open in 2016.
